    Hi, I'm Hamid Habib Syed

    Ph.D. candidate at Auburn University with expertise in AI, computer vision, and robotics. Experienced in UAV/UGV systems, digital twins, and deep learning pipelines.     Deep Learning Based Road Traffic Analytics system to classify vehicles on the basis of axle-load
    Corporate Project
    • Development of a deep learning-based system for analyzing road traffic and classifying vehicles based on their axle-load, which can help to identify overloading and prevent damage to roads and bridges.
    • Collection and annotation of diverse novel dataset which consists of 33 different classes. This is the most diverse dataset in Pakistan for vehicle type recognition.
    • Learning algorithms, to automate and streamline the vehicle classification process.
    • Implementation of the system at strategic locations, such as toll booths or weigh stations, to collect data on vehicle traffic and ensure compliance with weight limits.
    • Use of the collected data to generate reports and visualizations that provide insights into traffic patterns, overloading trends, and other factors that may impact road safety and maintenance.
